Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy explains our strict no-return policy for hygiene and safety reasons. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

Important: All sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds except in the case of items damaged during shipping.

Our No-Return Policy

Press-on nails are personal hygiene and cosmetic items that come into direct contact with your skin and nails. For health, safety, and sanitation reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges of opened, used, or unworn nail products.

This policy is in place to:

  • Protect the health and safety of all customers
  • Comply with hygiene standards for personal care items
  • Prevent the resale of contaminated products
  • Maintain product quality and integrity

All sales are final. When you place an order, you acknowledge and agree that you cannot return items for a refund or exchange, except as outlined in the "Damaged Items" section below.

The ONLY Exception: Damaged Items During Shipping

We will accept claims for replacement or refund ONLY if your items arrive damaged due to shipping. This is the sole exception to our no-return policy.

What Qualifies as Shipping Damage

Shipping damage includes:

  • Broken or cracked press-on nails
  • Crushed or severely damaged packaging that affected the product
  • Missing items from your order
  • Product contamination due to package damage (e.g., water damage, exposed adhesive)
  • Completely wrong item shipped (different product than ordered)

How to Report Damaged Items

If your items arrive damaged, you must report the damage within 7 days of delivery. To file a damage claim:

  1. Email us immediately: Contact support@naildrop.shop within 7 days of delivery
  2. Include your order number: Reference your order number in the subject line
  3. Provide photographic evidence: Include clear photos showing:
    • The exterior of the shipping package (showing damage)
    • The damaged items
    • All packaging materials
    • Any visible shipping labels or tracking information
  4. Describe the damage: Explain what is damaged and how it affects the product's usability
  5. Keep all packaging: Do not discard the damaged packaging or items until your claim is resolved

Review and Resolution Process

Once we receive your damage claim:

  1. Review (1-3 business days): We will review your photos and description to verify the damage
  2. Decision: We will determine, at our sole discretion, whether to offer:
    • A replacement shipment (same items sent again)
    • A full refund to your original payment method
    • Store credit for future purchases
  3. Resolution (5-10 business days):
    • If approved for replacement, we will ship new items at no additional cost
    • If approved for refund, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days

Note: Damage claims submitted after 7 days of delivery will not be accepted. We cannot offer refunds or replacements for damage not reported within this timeframe.

What We DO NOT Accept Returns or Refunds For

The following situations do NOT qualify for returns, refunds, or exchanges:

Change of Mind

  • You decided you don't like the design or color after purchase
  • You changed your mind about wanting the product
  • You found a similar product elsewhere at a lower price
  • You no longer need the nails for the event you purchased them for

Incorrect Size Selection

  • You selected the wrong nail sizes
  • The nails don't fit your natural nails
  • You didn't measure your nails correctly before ordering
  • You ordered without using our size guide

Sizing Responsibility: We provide detailed sizing guides and size profiles to help you select the correct sizes. It is your responsibility to measure your nails accurately and select the appropriate sizes. We cannot accept returns due to incorrect size selection.

Color and Appearance Variations

  • The color looks different than it appeared on your screen or monitor
  • The design looks slightly different than the product photos
  • Minor variations in handcrafted details

Why This Happens: Colors may appear differently on different screens, devices, and monitors due to display settings, brightness, and color calibration. Additionally, because many of our nail sets are handcrafted, minor variations in pattern placement, embellishment positioning, and artistic details are normal and expected. These variations are part of the artisanal nature of our products and do not constitute defects.

Application or Removal Issues

  • You had difficulty applying the nails
  • The nails didn't stay on as long as you expected
  • You experienced damage to your natural nails during removal
  • You used the wrong application method or products

Application Support: We provide application instructions with every order. If you need additional support, please contact us before attempting to return the product.

Allergic Reactions or Skin Sensitivities

  • You experienced an allergic reaction or skin irritation
  • You have sensitive skin and the product didn't work for you
  • You discovered you're allergic to the materials after purchase

Safety Note: If you have known allergies or sensitivities, please review the product materials and ingredients before purchasing. We recommend patch testing before full application. If you experience an adverse reaction, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.

Custom and Personalized Orders

  • Custom orders created specifically to your specifications
  • Personalized designs with your requested modifications
  • Made-to-order items tailored to your preferences

Custom Order Policy: Custom and personalized orders are created specifically for you and cannot be resold. These items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances, except for shipping damage as described above.

Lost or Stolen Packages

  • The package was stolen from your doorstep (porch piracy)
  • The package was delivered but you cannot locate it
  • The carrier marked it as delivered but you didn't receive it

Note: Once the carrier confirms delivery, title and risk of loss transfer to you. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after successful delivery. See our Shipping Policy for more information on lost packages.

Refund Process (For Approved Damage Claims Only)

If your damage claim is approved for a refund:

Refund Method

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase
  • We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method or card

Refund Amount

  • Product cost: Full refund
  • Shipping costs: Refunded if damage occurred during shipping
  • Return shipping: Not applicable (you do not need to return damaged items)

Refund Timeline

  • Processing: 5-10 business days after approval
  • Bank/Card Processing: Additional 3-7 business days depending on your financial institution
  • Total Time: 8-17 business days from approval to funds appearing in your account

You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed. If you do not see the refund within 17 business days, please contact your bank or card issuer.

Replacement Process (For Approved Damage Claims Only)

If your damage claim is approved for replacement:

  • We will ship the same items again at no additional cost
  • Replacements are subject to product availability
  • If the exact item is no longer available, we will offer a comparable substitute or refund
  • Replacement orders follow our standard processing and shipping times

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute for reasons not covered by this policy (e.g., change of mind, incorrect sizing, color variations) is considered fraudulent and a violation of our Terms of Service.

If you file a chargeback without first contacting us:

  • We will provide evidence to your bank or card issuer showing our return policy
  • We will provide proof that you acknowledged this policy at checkout
  • Your account may be suspended or terminated
  • You may be prohibited from placing future orders

Resolution: If you have a concern about your order, please contact us first at support@naildrop.shop. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and in accordance with this policy.

Wrong Item Shipped

If we shipped you the wrong item entirely (not the product you ordered), please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will:

  • Verify the error by reviewing your order and photos you provide
  • Ship you the correct item at no additional charge
  • Provide a prepaid return label for you to return the wrong item (if requested)

This only applies to situations where we shipped a completely different product, not minor variations in design or color.

Quality Guarantee

While we cannot accept returns for change of mind, we stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive a product that is genuinely defective due to a manufacturing error (not shipping damage), please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and a description. We will review on a case-by-case basis.

Manufacturing Defects Include:

  • Severe imperfections in the nail material that affect usability
  • Adhesive completely missing or non-functional
  • Structural defects that prevent the nails from being worn

NOT Manufacturing Defects:

  • Minor variations in handcrafted details
  • Slight color differences from photos
  • Application difficulties due to user error

Customer Responsibility

Before placing an order, you are responsible for:

  • Reading and understanding this Return & Refund Policy
  • Reviewing product descriptions, images, and specifications carefully
  • Measuring your nails accurately and selecting correct sizes
  • Ensuring you can use the product (no known allergies or sensitivities)
  • Acknowledging that all sales are final

By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.
